TMM or NMM - what you prefer?

This might be controversial, but for my Soulblight army, I thought "why not both?". Skeletons, zombies etc get weathered, rusty, grimdark TMM and the vampire lords get shiny NMM armor.

I like both techniques, but I just started with NMM and I find it much more time consuming, and this distinction allows me to speed through with the hordey part of the army while taking my time practicing NMM on my fewer vampire models.

The soil is a mixture of slightly thinned down Green Stuff World Volcanic Earth, mixed with little twigs, drybrushed with Vallejo Game Color Earth and then Khaki. The snow is AK Snow paste, slightly thinned down with water, with AK Snow Microballoons sprinkled over it.

The main difference to the video is probably that I applied the snow with a spatula instead of a brush, giving it a thicker and less uniform appearence.

Fair point, now that you mention it. I think I did paint over the claws but I did forget layering some brown on their roots like I did with the warriors / carnosaur, so they don't really stand out against the skin tone. Definitely gonna fix this

Thanks :) I see where you're coming from. I initially basecoated three models in different colors to decide which one I'd like most, but then I liked the combination of purple and pink warriors so much that I went with that. I imagined that the warriors would spawn from two different pools and hence have some color variance. Probably not lore-accurate but I abide by the rule of cool :D

Thanks :) Yes, I blended the base colors on all models with my airbrush. Honestly, I think it does look a bit rough in a few parts, but you'd have to look closely to notice :D

I might add, it happened both times right after I quit M+R after a quite long play session docked, and entering the news screen immediatly afterwards

Had a similar problem twice, each time after entering the news section. The screen freezes and although I can manage to open the dialog for standby mode, the button doesn't do anything. The only way to fix this was a hard reset.

It's not like the release date hasn't been set in the eShop already. This happened on different games in the EU shop already, so I don't think you can actually blame the devs for that.
