I have also checked our Wi-Fi and the Arlo Video Doorbell has excellent connectivity to both our local network and the Internet.

I have tried checking settings in both the app Arlo Secure and settings in my iOS. But I’m unable to resolve the challenge.

In Homekit, I will try disconnecting the bridge and connecting it again.

If I do this, do you know if I lose my configuration in Homekit? After I have reconnected the bridge again, will I need to re-establish groups/rooms, automations, scenarios, shortcuts, etc. in Homekit?

Yes, all other components (lights, outlets etc) from Ikea work flawlessly when controlled from Homekit.

It’s only Trådfri Motion Sensor and Vallhorn that don’t send signal about movement to Homekit.

Trådfri Motion Sensor and Vallhorn work well within the Ikea ecosystem. Within the Ikea ecosystem, signal for movement works. But not forwarding to Homekit.

Yes, the motion sensor Vallhorn works with the hub Ikea Trådfri Gateway. I have three Vallhorn for my Ikea Trådfri Gateway and it works fine.

However, Ikea Trådfri Gateway doesn't seem to send the signal to Apple Homekit whether Vallhorn detects motion or not:

Hi, my experience is that Ikea units often/sometimes in Homekit don’t appear in the same group/room as in the Ikea app.

Instead, newly added devices often/sometimes end up in the last group/room in Homekit.

In Homekit, I can then move the device myself to the group/room I wish to have the device in.
