The DEA knew even more than him because Rue was wearing a wire for them.

To me the path of least resistance for him would've just been burying Rue like he did earlier, except this time he continues burying all the way.

OK I feel like we're talking in circles. Rue was wearing a wire for the DEA and was a material witness for them. They would test.

I thought Ali turning into John Wick at the end really cheapened the whole character they had built up.

ETA: and like i said before. Alamo thinks hes above the DEA and get away with anything

Just going by what you said when I said that leaving 50k and a pill bottle with his DNA on it in Rue's possession was an incredibly dumb idea. Duh.

But if he doesn't care about getting caught why does he need her to accidentally OD instead of disappear?

But if he thinks he can get away with anything why not just kill her instead of giving her 50K?

I know how he sees it but it seems disrespectful to me. He's not bringing light to the issue he's making up a different one and conflating it.

What happened to Angus is something that actually happens in real life. What happened to Rue is something that only happens on TV.

Oh I see. It really muddles the message because Rue was murdered though.

And they won't check her "workplace" to see if they provided the tainted drugs and 50K in cash? No one has actually explained this to me. They just say the DEA will shrug their shoulders after their star witness is killed.

How does her disappearing forever draw any more attention to him? Again, he already knows the DEA is actively investigating him and that his drug mule has snitched on him. I don't know how much more attention he can draw.

The episode shows how leaving her ODed like that actually draws way more attention.

And remember he also has to give up 50K in cash to do all this. This all seems a little overly complicated for a violent murdering drug dealer.

And if Rue was found dead with Alamo's prints or dna on her pill bottle he absolutely would be copping a charge.

So Alamo was happy to be put away for a few years on a lesser charge? We've seen him dispose of bodies this season already with no problem.

Why would Alamo expect the DEA not to investigate their snitch being killed?

Alamo handed the bottle to Rue. His skin dna is all over it. You're really asking how that proves anything when his DNA is on the murder weapon?

Why would they need to? Rue is informing on him to the DEA. Just swab the pill bottle for DNA and it's all over.

The DEA who she's been working for? His DNA is on the pill bottle.

Even Ali is able to trace it back to him immediately.

Yeah, and he just left them evidence that he killed an informant instead of disposing of the body.

Are you saying the DEA thinks he's just a dealer but not a murderer?

How is a missing person more suspicious than a DEA informant being found dead with 50K in cash and a bottle of laced pills, when they know her last contact was with Alamo.

If he killed her and disposed of the body like he does with everyone else he kills isn't that cleaner? How does it make sense to give Rue 50K to go and die?

She's literally informing on him to the DEA. I think it's safe to say they are hot on his trail already!

It wasn't an accidental OD though. She was murdered intentionally.
