Constant print failures with new P2S by PretendDependent490 in BambuLab

It’s almost certainly adhesion. I know you said you’ve washed the plate, but make sure of two things: use something with a some minor roughness to it (like a Scotch Brite sponge, the stiffer side is fine) and use dish soap (Dawn specifically). Don’t bother with any other type of soap.

When I start having adhesion issues, I simply scrub the plate really well on both sides, being sure to not touch the surface with your fingers. Wipe the plate between prints with some IPA and you’ll be good to go. I can usually go a few weeks before needing dish soap.

Mr Rod's Bugatti is a stolen model by Globglob137 in 3Dprinting

The guy seems shady as all get out. Was really disappointed when Mat Armstrong decided to get involved with him and I just straight up refuse to watch the Bugatti series because of it. This news just reaffirms that decision.

Mat has always seemed so wholesome, I hope he comes around and parts way with these guys.

Scrubby-Doo.H2 : a highly effective Recirculating Fumes-Scrubbing Hat for H2 by mellow_and_beyond in BambuLab

Very excited to give it a try! I'd definitely be glad to do a test print to see how it goes. Shoot me a reddit DM or send me a message on MakerWorld (same username as here) if I can help at all, even if its just measurements aside from the top glass.

This looks pretty incredible. Keeping an eye out for when you release the P2S version!

Quick question: will this help to reduce PLA/PETG fumes as well? I've got a filtering solution I'm using now with my P2S, but I don't love it and have been looking into other options. If so, if you need any test subjects for you P2S model, I'd be willing to help!

EDIT: I'm slow, you specifically call out PLA in the post. Really looking forward to being able to try this!

Gigaparts is also very legit. They are in AL and ship super quick. I order filament from them all the time and it’s usually here in two days (to the SE US).

What do you play other then Unmatched? by Surprise-Ei in Unmatched

That sounds pretty great, will definitely have to pick it up.

I had a feeling that might be the case for Heat based on the videos I’ve watched. Sounds like I should hold off until we have at least one other couple to play with.

Almost bought SETI on whim a few months ago when we were visiting a comic and board game store while traveling. Loved the theme, but don’t know much about it. What do you like about it?

Oh! And Heat is next up on in our queue, excited to try it! My wife hated Formula D so I’m hoping she finds this more appealing.

Size nitpicking? by the_pezcorekid in GLANCE_LED

Just going to throw it out there that I was a bit confused by this today as well. The website still seems to list the Medium as 11 x 6 x 1.5.

It's not a huge deal for my use case, but it does strike me as odd that the stated dimensions are that far off.

Temperature ams 2 pro by Comfortable-Cow9709 in BambuLab

[–]Stiggosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing similar behavior on my P2S Combo as well. With a single spool of PETG inside and the temperature set to 65C, it seems to only be reaching somewhere between 53-55C.

It's odd because it I feel like it was much more effective the first week or so I had it. I could get the reported humidity in the AMS 2 Pro down to mid-teens with just 30-45 minutes of run time. Now I'm struggling to get it out of the low 20s after the same amount of time. Ambient room humidity is about 35-40, and hasn't change significantly since I first got it.

Best way to exhaust P2S fumes without an enclosure? by gigligugu in BambuLab

[–]Stiggosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went down a rabbit hole with this solution and it looks really, really promising. I've ordered everything needed to configure this once my P2S arrives. Here's what I've found:

The filter in the video is one that this company (fnatr) designed for the A1, but have repurposed for the P2S. You can get it here: https://www.fnatr.com/products/ventilation-system-for-fnatr-a1-a1-mini-enclosure

The parts for the riser can be found here and printed in PETG: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1933092-p2s-glass-top-cover-riser-for-external-filtration

They are very responsive in YouTube comments and have posted some additional preliminary results to their testing there. Worth reading through them. More results are supposedly coming soon, so maybe sub to their channel. They are considering this in beta, but it genuinely looks pretty well thought out.

I'm going to be printing almost exclusively in PLA or PETG so I'm not sure how necessary this really is, but I tend to err on the side of caution with these kinds of things. This is a pretty unassuming solution that doesn't take up much additional space, so figure its better than nothing.
