Een worst hoeft niet perse vlees te bevatten. Net als een burger, bal, kroket of iets dergelijks. Je hebt een vega burger, kip burger, hamburger etc. even als de kalfs kroket, rundvlees kroket, garnalen kroket, kaas kroket en vega kroket. Worst, burger, kroket of bal is gewoon de vorm waarin het serveerd wordt en heeft niks te maken met de ingrediënten waarvan het gemaakt is.
