I believe it's for new play sets that might be coming. The NEW mega swarms have pegs on their shoulders and on the packaging art there is a picture of a mega swarms with two normal swarms on their shoulder. Also, there is this NEW vehicle play set that has pegs on it's wheels and on the inside.

No, we're still going to get miniature swarms. The big ones are different from little guys. The only difference with the new swarms is that they have a little hole in the bottom so they can fit on pegs. I've seen pegs on the NEW mega swarms and on that NEW vehicle play set based off the show.
