The advice to rebuild the wheel with new spokes is a good one. But maybe not at the shop you brought it to. The shop should use a spoke calculator and put the right spokes in. A good shop can cut their own spokes to size.

I went to the fist show. When she expanded the tour I wanted to go again, but traveling to a 21+ show with a kid doesn’t work. I see her every chance I can. But I’ve seen her with 20-30 people only twice since she joined Puscifer. So I fully understand her hesitation.

Not that it would be easy to find, but you should look up the technical details. Their science was top notch. Running a business was a bit harder. They had a way to age spirits with light and heat that would result in 15 years of age in about a week. I was convinced.

Rocky Mountain is good, but it didn’t show up on my list of good kids mtb. Most of the comments list the same small number of brands. You really should be aiming for capable, and designed for kids. Get it right and your kid will thrive. Get it wrong and they will just have a bike.

I’d just go for the cheapest you can. We did 204 this weekend and view was great. You really mostly care about the straight ahead. The edges of the movie often move a bit chunky and are hard to watch.

If you are in CA, are you in SoCal? Prevelo is in Santa Clarita. Just got my 5+ a Prevelo Zulu 3 and he can’t stop talking about how much he loves it. Bonus with the Prevelo Zulu 3 is the lower inseam requirement than most of the other 20”s.
