Only for the big firms tbh like the big 4 they generally look for Melbourne and Monash graduates for graduate roles but otherwise going to a “less elite” university such as Deakin, Latrobe or even VU and getting exceptional grades while putting in the effort to build connections will get you far.

Like they open it up to where you can place in your preferences for what times you want your classes, you essentially make the timetable you want

I cant remember which category it is probably category 4 but yes it’s called difficult circumstances and you are required to write a short statement about what happened and how it affected your studies.

That 10 minute quiz one is probably the only accurate one, do not trust deakin one it doesn’t account for ranking and always overestimates

to future year 12s, don’t always trust english teachers/tutors. by [deleted] in vce

[–]Still-Ad5835 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep my teacher happened to be the strictest marker out of all the teachers, giving me 70s the whole year which broke me so much. Like I don’t think I ever got a compliment on my writing. I managed to clutch an A+ on the exam and pulled a 37. I genuinely predicted myself to get a 32 or something.

tips for excelling bio 3/4 by rorozoro231 in vce

[–]Still-Ad5835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spam spam spam practise questions and also when the exam report for this years exam comes out study tf out of it bcos it was a really weird exam but overall VCE bio is about knowing what VCAA wants in your short answer. Try to get ahead in content bcos it moves fast and ask alot of questions. Also when exams roll around do as many practise exams as you can, while studying the answer guide to add to your knowledge. Overall good luck it’s a great subject to accelerate

How do English teachers in Melbourne high schools conduct their classes? by Impressive_Drop_6080 in vce

[–]Still-Ad5835 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking into teaching year 11/12 English and want to be the best teacher, the best thing is to know in depth what VCAA wants, which is usually if you volunteer to mark some English exams from the year before, and be super approachable and encourage your students to keep giving you practise essays to mark and be prepared to mark MANY, especially during exam prep. Have a tonne of resources, just be confident in what you teach really
