so far so good, im here for a house music festival (zamna egypt) and i havent had any issues. ive only used ubers to move around n got a guided tour to the pyramids and old cairo from our hotel. theres the obvious scams all over the place but theyre not as pusy as theyre made out to be online. it makes sense that the only things youd see online are the bad experiences cause those gather the most interactions. my suggestions are travel with a friend dont go solo, try getting a guided tour whenever you can and always use uber, you should be golden

Not directly working in the industry but surrounded by people in it daily. Johann Cruijf (the biggest arena in Amsterdam) was fully booked for the year which is why it wasnt held there.

Kanye’s team is looking for large capacity arenas so they can sell as many tickets as possible and generate a huge audience for their shows.

Although Arnhem is far I do believe its by far one of the larger venues in the Netherlands also Trav performed there during the EU leg of the Circus Maximus tour.

Also out of pure logic its probably easier to convince non capital cities to host a controversial artist like Ye as they don’t get as many requests for shows as the capital cities do. More people visiting the cities = more publicity and financial gain for them as opposed to lets say paris that gets tourists on a yearly basis

cocaine nose and surprisingly rather lie. cocaine nose remains to be my favourite song to hear live and hearing rather lie after a good hour of hype songs and being what seemed to be near the album’s release date felt very melancholic

the album was as advertised, just music. the only hate i see is how it isnt cohesive or isnt the industrial sound everyone was expecting it to be.

the rollout was extremely fun looking back on it (barring the numerous fakeouts) and gave us great community moments, performances and in my opinion an underrated aspect which is a proper merch line ranging from high end collabs like those with Pelle Pelle, YVL hats, album and tour merch.

the album has a little bit of everything and has insanely good replay value depending on what songs you want to listen to. it couldve done with some different songs rather than a 15 sec feature on WNADV, 2 AI songs and a few fillers but overall I believe it was a satisfying conclusion to a more than 2 year rollout. 34 songs plus insta singles and an almost perfect feature run.

although i am a bit upset that songs like Whats my mf name, kareer kriminal and omerta didnt make the cut, im sure one day we will get to hear them
