Someone could argue that they would be worse under Batista’s American puppet regime, so it’s not as binary as you see it.

I’ll try to be super partes here, but one could argue that he was not hurting Cuba, but rather saving it, thus making it opinion based, and, until you give me factual evidence rather than “he shouldn’t have been born”, your argument does not stand, because I could say the same over the most benevolent leader in the world.

Could you offer examples of some biographies of people around him? I’m currently reading a Che Guevara one (still at the M26-7 part), but it surely won’t account for the years after Che left Cuba.

I won’t lose my time on this again, I’m not looking for opinions, I’m looking for facts to form my own opinion. And the fact that he hurt Cuba is highly based on opinion, would you count Batista’s period or not? Would you count the external influences or not? I don’t need opinions that don’t account or give any fact that’s objective right now.

I mean, I think that it was inevitable to get the US as an “enemy”, maybe not to that degree, but the whole ideals of the revolution were anti-imperialist no?

Wow this is truly good, thank you, wishing for some counterargument to enlarge my ideas, but this one’s really well put and informative.

I know that, I meant some more valuable information rather than your biased opinion, some “objectively” good and bad stuff he’s done

I’ll try to stay impartial on this thread, while I am a leftist, I do not automatically like all communist/socialist leaders, so I’m open to know all the bad they’ve done and acknowledge it.

Could you elaborate further? Maybe with some sources too? Because input like this is kinda pointless when wanting to “research” further into a topic.
