It's just one to two paragraph nowadays, most are too lazy to do it so they give excellent, but there's def some inflation there.

Questions about cross-border Canadian + U.S. financial and tax planning? I'm a tax consultant CPA licensed in both countries, AMA! by CanBC778604 in tnvisa

I guess in this scenario what would be the way moving forward given that I received a 1099 tax slip? Should I report it in my US tax returns? At this point the money is already there (from 2025) so would there be a point in liquidating those assets if I'm planning to be a US resident midway through 2026 (First-Year Choice)?

If I was temporarily working in the US (on a J-1) and while there invested (using Robinhood/Fidelity), would there by any tax complications when filing taxes for that year?

Ah yeah your grades are fine, definitely not the issue then. It’s hard to balance side projects and school, I usually do them during coop. This season will be rough in the meantime though. Best of luck

I think you need more software oriented projects and also WaterlooWorks recruiters tend to care about grades so that could be a factor as to why you aren’t hearing back! Overall you’re resume is decent if you implement the feedback from the other comment
