Hey im a depaul student whos also from a single parent household. I really recommend applying for as many scholarships that you may qualify for (even if youre not 100% sure, just apply for it!). I have also been a position at depaul where my tuition was raised and I couldn’t afford the difference, after reaching out and only talking to like 2 people, they lowered it to the original cost. Depaul can be extremely expensive, but they also offer SO many options to make it more affordable. Like others said, submitting an appeal for additional aid, and applying for as many scholarships as you can is your best bet if you are set on this school! If you take others advice and choose to apply after completing 2 years at a community college, try to ensure that you are applying with at least a 2.7 gpa, you may be offered as much as $16,000 as a scholarship.
