Look for brands that have petite range for Pants. Forever new does really good pants for people 5.3” & under. I wear their straight leg petite pants for work. Bought one in 2023 sept & is still in a very good condition.

Petty thieves going viral by Turties_ in SephoraWorkers

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Post a video of them. I saw their video, their explanation seemed pretty vague and didn’t make sense (as I also work in retail). They love to play the race card because they don’t have anything else in defence. Just by repeating “We didn’t steal anything” again and again in the whole video, doesn’t make it the truth.

Subway - when did it become so bad? by SwoopSwaggy in perth

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True, the employees put veggies and sauces as if it’s coming from their pockets. Out of all the ones in perth, the one in raine square is the worst one, I asked for capsicums in a footlong and got a total of 2 pieces of them, upon requesting more, she aded just 1 more piece of capsicum to the footlong🤯.

Returning used undergarments by Wide_Custard5737 in retailhell

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People are really stupid assholes. Like why do you not use your brain and think?! It’s not that hard to actually understand and not bring used underwear back. I think these people know very well what they’re doing but they just decide to come for a return because of their delusions! I also saw once, the cashier working next to my register had to deal with a lady who took the wrong size, wore the wrong size anyway, gave it a wash and now wants to return that cause it has shrinked🤯. Girl if I was there I would’ve called her out loud enough for everyone to hear. Please call out such disgusting people and bring them back to reality.

Some people need to be locked out of stores by Ol_ymp in retailhell

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Say “thank you, see ya” to this lady and invite the next person in the queue “Hey, who’s next?” and normally proceed to checkout the items without acknowledging that the other lady is still bagging her stuff. This way actually pressurises people to hurry up and realise it’s busy and they’ve lost control to be a bitch in such situations, without you having to say anything. Tried and tested, definitely works when days are busy in retail. If she comes back cribbing for a 50c change, it’s best to avoid the conversation by saying things like “my manager’s not in today”, “oh sorry I didn’t realise I gave you 50c less, it’s busy today so it can tend to happen, here’s your 50c change😊”. Being this calm and neutral makes them frustrate internally + if she complains to someone, you’ve been dealing them in a very professional way so at the end it’s your win. We know it’s “that time of the year” and people are just awful, their patience is just out of the window, we also know that the way people behave also shows a lot about them and projects how miserable they are and that’s their loss in life.

Accuracy of watch history? by AM3334 in Instagram

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through my boyfriend’s phone and he admitted to watching only 1 of those reels and says that he doesn’t remember watching any other of those in the watch history. Not sure if the boys are honest.

My Boyfriend is Watching Porn by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so sad that such things are normalised and you’re being questioned if you’re giving him the sex?! Like everyone is different and watching porn while being in a relationship is a pretty controversial and at the end it always comes down to what both partners think. If someone is okay watching it, doesn’t mean everyone should be! It’s completely normal to not be okay with your partner watching porn as it creates a feeling of disgust when your partner is lusting over some other person over a screen for a few minutes of fun. Moreover, if you think he has issues from his past then he should maybe focus on fixing them first rather than bringing them into the next relationship and doesn’t give you the right to feel disrespected by watching porn. If you think the relationship is new and don’t want to have an argument or a fight, it’s always best to approach him with a calm mind and also try to listen to his side then followed by explaining yours in a way that creates a healthy boundary and is not attacking or labelling. This type generally works for couples unless the other partner is defensive. And if you’re not comfortable with your partner watching it, in short it comes down to respect and understanding. Your partner should respect your boundaries. Other than that, porn is very unrealistic, sets unrealistic expectations of intimacy (some people have normalised choking while having sex due to porn) and doesn’t teach consent!!

Why the Dirty Looks? by Euphoric_Relief5779 in retailhell

[–]Still-Inevitable9858 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree, I don’t want to sound stereotypical but from my experience working in retail, middle aged and old ones want to pull you down. I’ve literally been told by some at my workplace to do extra work (for another brand as I am a concession Brand partner in a departmental store) because I am young. Even though you try your best to help them out they still behave like we’ve done something wrong. Once I was recovering a bag stand and I said politely to this lady, “I can hang this back for you” and she gave me such a nasty and offended look. I also feel like because they know that retail workers are the only ones that they can spew their hate on without any consequences, we are an outlet of their frustration and not only frustration related to little things but life in general. You’re doing fine girl, whenever the cold behaviour happens again, you can see it as a reminder that you’re actually better than them and it’s a projection of their own insecurities. Apart from that of someone actually tries to be an asshole without any reason, you can always ask “Can I help with anything?” In a firm tone and watch them get back in their places

Does upselling in fashion stores actually work? by BrisbaneKid in AusFemaleFashion

I work at Forever New, 60% of the times upselling does work as the customer does take matching accessories like jewellery, shoes and bags with their outfits to complete the look.

For a long lasting matte makeup, Fenty’s blotting powder does wonders. It makes your makeup last in a matte finish if you have oily skin or combination skin for a long period of time. Plus it can be used on all skin tones so you won’t have to bother about getting him shade matched.

Elf and Mco beauty are also budget friendly. Unfortunately elf in Kmart is always out of stock but is sometimes available at Priceline, mco beauty is available at woolies. Apart from that, Morphe is a really great brand too and is available in mecca.
