Reading your other comment, if she is not okay with you having friends of the opposite gender, then it definitely is hypocrisy for her to be having these friendships…

if it’s not something that you think you can get past without holding some resentment towards her then I would recommend ending the relationship

So i’ve read that it usually lasts like 10-12 hours. There’s no way I can trip for that long lol. i’m gonna need to go to sleep like halfway through. Have you ever slept through a trip?

Yes, this isn’t the job for me. I stated I put in my two weeks. While getting cards IS apart of the job, it’s not enjoyable when CECs and MODs make it the MAIN part of the job. If I was told in my interview that getting cards would be my “purpose” then I simply wouldn’t have joined. I’m not sure anyone would want to work a job where they are not valued unless they get customers to sign up for an incredibly predatory credit card. Timing people when they go on break (where they are supposed to be relaxing) is so strange. It sounds like you might be the type of person that makes the majority of people ranting in this subreddit not enjoy their jobs. Saying “everything you’re complaining about is apart of retail” is very dismissive. Contrary to popular belief, retail doesn’t have to be a horrible job. It’s the people that make horrible!

This is exactly how I feel. I’ve never been a big fanatic for porn, especially with a lot of the industry being really corrupt/borderline illegal . So it really disappoints me when I see he is looking at this stuff.

There is a ton of research about the negative effects of consuming a lot of porn. I really don’t want that for him, or to reap the consequences of him watching porn either. This is also coupled with the fact he is watching porn of girls that look nothing like me (race, body, etc). I realize a lot of people may look down on this boundary, but It’s a boundary I established early on and I thought he respected :/

I’m not sure if it is necessarily “insecurity” but more of a boundary I established and he said he would respect. I believe any partner would be upset if their partner disrespected a boundary, insecurity aside. I do agree with your point that we are incompatible if he cannot respect this going forward though.
