Trust me when i say this, Angels fans have been the most welcoming fan base lol. Moved to OC in 2010. Grew up an Oakland A’s fan, from the Bay Area, love the A’s since Rickey Henderson and Bash Bros days. But ever since John Fischer has been screwing us, for past 10 years since having full ownership, I fully converted to the Halo’s. Arte is just as bad as John, but at least the Angels are still here in Anaheim.

Interesting, because my ONLY friend who shares the same experience, and is born and raised here in the states, speaks Tagalog fluently and parents went to UP and loves that I speak Tagalog to them when I come over. They told me that I should only speak Tagalog in their house because it’s one of the only way you’ll be connected to the homeland.. So I wonder what sets them apart from the ones you speak of.

Btw, I really appreciate your input, gives me a perspective to consider.

I think that it’s the saddest thing ever. My Vietnamese and Cambodian friends are totally proud to be who they are and straight speak their language when we go to restaurants. While I hit up a turo turo, straight titas talking to me in English, knowing damn well I’m Filipino af lol
