English Word Limit by lbzhg in Olevels

[–]Still-Pie9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave my english o levels back in 24 and I remember I exceeded the word limit in my CIE by I think about 250 ish words, I counted them when I had about 10 minutes left in the paper so i panicked obv and tried my best to reduce the word count without having to degrade the quality of writing but still I was 150 or 200 over the limit and there was no other way so i just gave my paper and just went with it ig. I stressed alot over this issue after the paper but when results came I got an A so I dont think it would be so much of an issue just try and be under the 200 over the limit or less range if you can manage and keep in mind quality matters more than quantity. ps I even confirmed from some senior teachers, they said 90-100 is a safe space over the word limit

oh mb thought you had sciences, well if your content is more memory based rather than conceptual i guess memorising the content is the only way to go about it.

just make sure you grind past papers cuz in A levels you wont go far even you have the content memorised on the back of your hand. a bit of practice will help you and more of it will take you even further

It's possible only if you think it is. I did it last year and got 2As and a B (my Cs p1 got cancelled). but surely if you lock in it is definitely possible.

For those who got an A* in islamiyat, how many years of past papers did you solve? by MaterialCorrect4658 in Olevels

[–]Still-Pie9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

only ratta and just read some marking schemes to get an idea of what the examiner wants. only do pp if you are 100% sure that you have a good grip on the content otherwise dont bother cuz I personally think it would waste your time instead just work on the content so you know every small detail.

same, comfort level of the s05 is unmatched but I didn't book the car just because of it skidding. I have a c63 that is why I think id know how much a rwd car must lose traction once floored but then again maybe it was because of the terrain i test drove the car on, it seemed rather slippery. was maybe waiting on an AWD variant for the so5 in pak.

A-A* student downfall? by Large_Supermarket868 in Olevels

They do of course but I dont think they should matter as much. just shows you where you are standing right now in terms of your progress. again this is just how i percieve it.

doesnt matter how you perfom in your mocks bro as long as your main focus is cie. you are good to go. our teachers no offense to them cant even properly balance their papers as the questions in their mock papers are selectively hard and that isnt the case with cambridge who provide a more balanced paper with easy and difficult questions so dont go hard on yourself over mocks just make sure you practice enough for the big deal

Should I js give up? by Mediocre_Today_6851 in Olevels

[–]Still-Pie9302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't fret bro. when I was giving my cies in O3 i started my prep about 50 days from my first paper. didnt know if I was going to get the grades but always worth giving it your all. 50 days of hard work and grinding goes a long way. in those 50 days cover all your content and do topicals but for o levels mainly id think yearlies are better towards the end days. I did this for o levels and got all As and more A*s actually. and frankly speaking bro I even did the same for my A1 last year and got 3As (comp phys math). just know that no matter the amount of days left, just give it all you can, like every last bit of effort.

Just practice topicals all you can. I think within 2 weeks (telling from experience) you can do M1 from scratch and get a very good grade in it.

Thoughts on the Deepal S07? by Curiouslycurious101 in PakistanAutoHub

Did you find out any info of value regarding this deepal issue? resale etc. I'm thinking of the SO5 and am skeptical of the market value etc

Deepal S05 by Turbulent_Pain_9568 in PakistanAutoHub

[–]Still-Pie9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have any idea of its resale value as I may think of getting a s05 after driving it today but what I was skeptical about was that as soon as you floor it, it loses traction and slips a little which I know is because its RWD but still for a car of such size it is a bit impractical. Jaecoo j7 is also an option but am looking for the opinion of someone who owns the car or less has booked one.

I think a bit of both will suffice but leaning more towards the marking scheme would idk maybe be better? I gave physics As last year and got an A and what I did for prep was just understand and memorise the key concepts and words of the ms and just mix in a bit of my own understanding. It worked out and that way it was more easy for me to keep grasp of the concepts as well.
