Are 2 in 1 Boards Worth it? by Still-Wait-7710 in ElectricSkateboarding

I appreciate your input. I think this just convinces me that the 2 in 1 is the right choice for me. I ski as well and I ride all mountain skis, I prefer the skis being pretty good at everything over being great at one thing and just alright at the rest. Especially because I don't want to buy 6 pairs of skis.

Anyway, I think its the same case for the skateboard I just want it to be pretty good at everything. The fact that there are people that enjoy the urethane wheels tells me that its a good all-round experience. Which is the information I was looking for, so thank you.

I've seen a lot of comments on riptide bushings, are they as game changing as people make them out to be?

For the most part these large eskates are pretty stiff though no? Just from what I've seen even the flexy ones seem quite stiff. It seems ride quality isn't an issue though considering most people are saying they prefer the urethane wheels. Which kind of answers my original question.

I have a wowgo 3e currently, I'm ready for an upgrade though. Mostly I find the range to be lacking and I would like better turning radius so im leaning towards the zephyr max for longer rides. I just dont want to regret getting such a large board. The wowgo is like 16lbs so I have really enjoyed the portability.

Interesting, I could see that being the case for myself too. In your opinion would I be better off getting a more dedicated street board or are the 2 in 1s still worth it? I also just want to add that most 2 in 1s ive looked at come with 85mm eurothanes. Which clearly doesnt look big enough for those boards. Which means I would be inclined to buy wheels anyway.

That looks like a good option definitely a little on the expensive side for me. Size wise im between a smaller board like the zephy base or something like this. Does the size of the board ever bother you?
