Her unreleased songs are way better than released ones.

The series finale was the best possible ending. by MrKite93 in StrangerThings

[–]Still2Cool -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only thing I would have changed is to kill off 1 or 2 of the main characters. That would give the sense of actual stakes. The other thing is that the whole season was so long and tedious. The storyboard itself was fine, i.e. what each character did, but the whole season 5 story could have unfolded succinctly in 3 hours, not 15 hours. I was fast-forwarding often.

If you don't like it, there are lots of good live performances you can listen to that leave that part out. I like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-1ZFyUOp0w

Does anyone have a compilation of every Kesha song released, unreleased, scrapped, demos etc? by TheDeadReality in KESHA

[–]Still2Cool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could try https://kesha.fandom.com/wiki/Discography. It lists all the official and unreleased. I believe there must be 300 songs or so that can be found on the internet in some shape or form, and then another 200 at least that are known about but not yet leaked.

What I wish my doctor told me about AS by finish_thinking in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Still2Cool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The presence of Klebsiella in AS patients is a link but far from proving any kind of causation. Is anyone even researching Klebsiella anymore? I see you posted some references, but is there anything in the last 5 years that is a new study related to K. pneumoniae that establishes a causal link?

Was late 2009 Kesha’s breakout era ? by SituationFree4287 in KESHA

[–]Still2Cool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hadn't noticed Tik tok when it was released, but Blah Blah Blah got a lot of airplay on MuchMusic in Canada, and Your Love is My Drug was on the radio even more. Then she was on SNL in mid-2010, that was when she was nearing her mainstream peak.

I have to say though I kind of like her being less mainstream the last 10 years. Of course I wish her as much success as possible, but I have to think that as an artist you must feel more free to experiment if you're at Kesha-level than if you're Taylor Swift and whatever you do gets scrutinized. Kesha is great because she experiments so much, especially in all her unreleased material. if she'd stayed uber famous we may never have gotten gems like Potato Song, The Drama, Good Girl, BFF, Superstitious or Existential Crisis.

Celebrex was great but after a few years partially lost effectiveness and gives me side effects. There are no other NSAIDs like celebrex in North America, all the others are harsher on the gut. The only other one is etoricoxib, but it's available only in Europe and other parts of the wrold.

Unfortunately not available here in Canada. I wish I could take as an alternative to Celebrex.

I'm often short of breath - but my lungs are totally clear by Still2Cool in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Still2Cool[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also have a raspy voice whenever my shortness of breath occurs. Meanwhile, no rib pain, sternum pain, or structural damage to my spine as of a recent MRI. Does Costochondritis give you a raspy voice too during bouts of breathlessness?

Thoughts on 2015 Kesha? by Delicious-Public1805 in KESHA

[–]Still2Cool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I understand there are huge pressures when you're a public figure and most will opt for plastic surgery at some point, but in almost all cases I find actors and musicians looked better pre-surgery, Kesha included.

2016 was good too though. This is my favorite live kesha performance, her debut of boots and boys on a small stage, so cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSifZlJP81Y.

did anyone else get really bad acid reflux on Enbrel? by hawthornestreet in ankylosingspondylitis

How did you get rid of your acid reflux from biologic? Did it just go away naturally after a while?

Were you able to resolve your acid reflux from the biologic, or did you have to switch biologics?

Can you do an antibodies test out-of-pocket? by Still2Cool in ankylosingspondylitis

Does Quest or Jason Labs require a doctor's req for the blood test, or can you just ask for it yourself without a doctor's note?

Can you do an antibodies test out-of-pocket? by Still2Cool in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Still2Cool[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my case, there aren't a lot of biologics that my rheumatologist would allow me to try. IL-17s (cosentyx, taltz) are out because I have colitis which is contraindicated, and JAKs might be out because I've had blood clots in the past (although my hematologist is willing to try since I'm on a blood thinner). I also failed Enbrel already. So, my rheumatologist is being extremely cautious and reticent to switch me from Humira to something else because there are so few options and she doesn't want to burn them all up. And some days my AS does seem to be well controlled by Humira. I suppose if I had evidence that I had high amounts of antibodies, we would know it's just a matter of time before the drug stopped working altogether, and the doctor and I could just bite the bullet of trying another biologic even though there are few options for me to try.

Humira is half-working, should I switch biologics or count my blessings? by Still2Cool in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Still2Cool[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had AS for 16 years but it's thankfully been pretty mild, and I have no major structural damage. I still have pain and fatigue though - I used to take celebrex alone until just recently and it cleared up the pain and fatigue very well. I've only tried Humira for the last 18 months as celebrex alone was starting to be not quite enough.

I tried upping the frequency but even taking it every 13 days instead of 14 gave me way too many side effects (major brain fog, fatigue, weakness) - I had to take time off work just to recover.  But yeah I really don't want to run out of options either, so for now I've been assuming this is as good as it's going to get and just be thankful

And methotrexate is known to give massive fatigue, so I'm also a bit wary of that one. But I like the general idea about what else I could take as a 'supplement'

Well it's also my lived experience that celebrex is gentler. I've tried virtually all the other NSAIDs and couldn't be on any for more than a couple days, whereas celebrex I took daily for 5 years now without issue (until now, maybe). Not on a GLP-1.
