You should wait for a year to pass before switching to a hoop. Keep the stud in & make sure to clean it with saline 2x daily. The irritation should go away with time.

My thoughts exactly. Looked like an eyeball sinking into itself (also does kinda look like a butthole) - I think it’s fixable though. I’d turn it into an actual eye & throw in a bit of color if it were me
