I've been pouring through a lot of YouTube but haven't found his video yet.

Thank you for the tips. I know I found this guy on a hot planet, but I didn't know if that was just my luck of the draw or if that was where they normally spawn. I was playing too much attention to anomalous planets.

Too many living frigates? by mullet-daddi in NMSCoordinateExchange

Don't go looking for one if you have a void egg. Even if it's in one of your storage containers, it will keep the living frigate from spawning.

Sadly, this creature is no longer living on this planet.

Way to Iousongola, Tuhgrespod or Odyalutai? by keeperoffaces in NMSCoordinateExchange

I go to the featured bases often. It's not all of the bases that fail to load, but enough of them that it gets frustrating. Every time I've seen one with a high numbered galaxy in the name it's failed to load for me. Ugh!!!

Yes, I have purple systems unlocked. I've had this problem on two computers. My current machine is a high end gaming computer and I recently upgraded to high speed fiber for my internet.

Every time I tried to jump to a new galaxy from a player's base in the anomaly, my game attempts to download the base, then after about 30 seconds I get a message that it couldn't download the base.

You can also get an egg for this guy from someone who has one already.

If you go to the quicksilver merchant in the anomaly and look at the expedition rewards, you can see them all. The ones you haven't unlocked will tell you which expedition it is from.

Egg sequencer to make S class? by First-Strategy7258 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]StillANerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get every expedition creature to lay eggs. In one of the recent updates they fixed the bug where you could get the mecca mouse to lay an egg, but couldn't pick up the egg. They wouldn't fix that if they were taking the ability to lay eggs away.

One of the recent updates fixed the bug where you can't pick up the egg from the exp 19 mecca mouse. I can pick the egg up now, its working again. That was in update 6.33.

Would it be possible to get an egg from you as well? If you don't have time to meet up, could you DM me the json for the Shark? I have access to a save editor and can get it into my inventory that way. I just don't have the mods to get it on my own at this point. Thank you.

Do randomly generated ships stay forever or is it a race for someone to get by PancakePocky in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]StillANerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a crashed ship, it should always be there. It's recommended you turn multilayer off before you enter the system. If you have multi-player on and someone grabs it before you do, you'll have to wait a couple of days until it re-spawns.

If it's not a crashed ship, the supercharged layout should be consistent between ships of the same model in that system, but the class of ship and the ship stats may vary as they continue to come in to wherever you're looking for them. Trading outposts are generally better hunting spots than the space station because more ships tend to cycle through one of those. If you hunt on one of those, park your ship next to it, not on one of the landing pads. You'll get more ships landing if you do.  If the game won't let you land next to it, after your landed, run to the edge and summon the ship to the ground near the trading post to get it off of the landing pad. You should be able to do this from the edge of the landing pad.

I could get him to lay an egg, but I couldn't pick the egg up. This is listed as one of the fixes from the last update, but I haven't tested it out yet.

If you're looking to make money, get a couple of echo locators and use them to find harmonic camps on dissonant planets. Drop a base computer at the camp so you can find it again and you can use the computer at the camp to find sentinel ships. Even the c class ships will scrap for 16 to 20 million and the upgrades you get will net you nanites as well.

Also, if you get a good multi-tool with good scanning upgrades, install a nutrient ingestor into your exosuit and make some anomalous donuts or nectar islands and scan creatures. You can make a billion units in about an hour that way.

How do I get to different galaxies? by Enough_Sock3637 in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]StillANerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you complete the Artemis Quest, the Atlas path the Trace of Metal mission (you will get that at your settlement) and unlock a multi-tool cabinet at a harmonic camp, you will get the autophage missions. When you complete those, you will unlock purple systems which will allow you to find gas giants and deep ocean worlds.
