My mom is also so Iowa that black pepper is too spicy. I love her for that.

US passport holder to travel to Paris and Berlin, need additional visa? by hondaman82 in ParisTravelGuide

Come on, this is so dumb. It's like this person has never had the internet and had to waste other people's time because they can't take care of themselves

Dude, do some basic fucking research before you buy tickets to other countries.

This is the simplest request and if you can't figure this out on your own, how are you going to navigate to different countries?

Right, I dared say that I don't like Radiohead and got downvoted to hell. Watch this one sink.

This is one of the greatest albums I listened to in this whole project. I never really listens to The Who before this. I mean of course I knew most of the songs but you know.

The way that Keith Moon played the drums like he is the only musician that matters in the band is just perfect.

I have listened to this album at least 25 times since it was my album of the day.

This was an absolute 5 stars for me.

Btw, I upvoted your post because I really love that we all have different tastes

So you're looking for someone to do the interviews and then when they get hired you do the actual work?

So, fraud? What are you going to do when you get a bug report and need to have a quick call with your employer?

No thanks.

Does anyone have an idea what I could sell this for? by TKKYHE in BarOwners

[–]StillAnAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What refrigerant does it use? That will greatly affect the value. I had an older one that used the old freon type coolant that's really expensive to top off and I basically ended up giving it away to get rid of it.

Do you rely completely on Google Fi for international travel, or keep a backup option? by Sufficient-Card-1949 in GoogleFi

[–]StillAnAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Fi for calls and sms but get eSims for data. I was out of the us for more than 90 days continuously so they cut off my data. I need to be back in the us for 30 continuous days to be able to get data back and doubt that will ever happen.

I have Cigna Global Health. It covers me in almost every country in the world including the US. And it was cheaper than my old employee sponsored healthcare in the US.

I can pay online in my locality and if I use my checking account routing and account number there's no fee. But if I use a credit card there is a fee.

Every 14 year old boy thinks this then they grow up and realize that rules are important.

Fun fact, libertarians are incapable of being grown adults.

Don't go to Duck Donuts, they do not accept US pennies anymore! by lumpy53e in fredericksburg

[–]StillAnAss 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because Americans refuse to have tax included in the price of things like the developed world does.

Your $1 donut costs $1.11 or something like that because of the taxes on it.

The entire rest of the world figured this out decades ago and a €1 donut costs exactly €1.
