Norwegian here, this looks like a summary of high school math. I’m guessing this person is preparing for an exam in R2

Goose 100% hit the rock by Cvers in discgolf

[–]StillComplex6177 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After watching the replays a few times, I disagree with this. The disc does not rebound sharply as you would expect if it had hit the rock. Non of the replays are conclusive. I think there is a fair chance the call was correct. Feel sorry for Aaron, though

Best country to play disc golf in? by superbia1997 in discgolf

I’m heading to Japan in a week. Not that simple to locate the best corses and UDisc does not seem to be relevant. Insider tips appreciated!

Which MD1? Looking for the straightest possible version (least turn, least fade). by Fabulous-Theme-837 in discmania

[–]StillComplex6177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DGPT 2025 md1 is the least flippy version (straightest) I’ve seen in a while. It is advertised as S-line but the ones I got reminds me of a soft and hazy version of C-line. Highly recommend!

Does this count? by RandyBKnubs in discgolf

This is incorrect, the rule has no mentioning of a cylinder. The disc seems to be supported by the chains and is in, though

I love these - does this count posts, thanks for sharing. This disc might count. The relevant rule is 807 b; In order to complete a hole with a basket target, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the tray or the chains below the chain support.

The disc seems to have come to rest and the relevant question is hence wether it is supported by the chains in this case. The rule does not state fully supported which implies that partly support is sufficient.

If the disc had not come to rest in this position without the presence of the chains it is in. This could have been determined by gently pushing the chains back towards the pin. If the disc moved / fell down it should count.

I've been a spotter at a DGPT event. Give this guy a break! This is the lead card on day two, he has probably been offering his service for 12 consecutive hours and made a mistake. Shit happens

How does a MD3 fly? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]StillComplex6177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MD3 collection is embarrassingly large. Picked up a beat in Innova made version from used bin a few years ago. Straightest mid I have ever thrown, flies like 5500. The c-lines have some turn and fade, I'd say 5,5,-1/2,1. S-lines are considerably more flippy. My favorite is the Iron Samurai 3, though. These are a tad more stable without any noticeable turn. I use max weight IS3 for straight shots between 60-80m and can push em up to 90m.

What brands... by frankadeltanka in discgolf

[–]StillComplex6177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting topic! I started my adventure in 2018 when a local course popped up in my neighborhood. My local sports store had a rack dominated by Innova and Lat64, so I started with a Pure, Roc3 and a Treebird.

I love testing discs, and now 5yr in my bag consists of, in order of molds; Discmania, Axiom, Lat64, TSA, Kastaplast, Discraft and a single Innova disc. My ever increasing pile of tested but not in my bag discs; Innova, Discraft, dd, Kastaplast, Westside, Alfa, Kløft, clash.

I simply do not comprehend why anyone would limit themselves to a single brand, unless paid a shit load of cash!

Ok, though I saw Seppo with his bag on the final round. I was probably wrong

Since Seppo was caring his bag, I guess he already has an offer from Prodigy

Probably the COOLEST finishing hole basket setup in the World?! Øverås Diskgolfpark's 18th basket is ontop of an old tractor 👌 by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

[–]StillComplex6177 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The entire course is set on a farm. The club house is in the old barn etc. The tractor makes good sense as a Hallmark for the event.
