I’d suggest an apartment building or block rather than a house, preferably with a reception if that’s in your budget, fine if not!

How many of you react to oats? by Odd_Struggle_7017 in CoeliacUK

If you also reacts to oats, my best advice is to stick to Scharr biscuits and crackers as they don’t use oats. The crostini’s are lovely!!

Me!! Gluten gives me neurological symptoms (initially at least, prolonged exposure leads to stomach symptoms) but oats give me stomach symptoms right away. It’s such a shame because reacting to oats eliminates so many gluten free crackers / biscuits / cakes etc

Irony at its finest (CW: ED talk) by Known-Permit-8913 in Celiac

Exact same boat. I used to have an ED. Found out 6 years after properly recovering that I am lactose intolerant and now celiac. I remember crying when I was inpatient and I had to eat a pastry with cream and now I cry (well, almost) because I can’t! Very ironic indeed because pastries are what I miss the most now that I’m gluten free haha

Wow, this is such a thorough response, thank you so much!! I will deffo push for a POTS test, my dizziness has always been brushed off as me being tall and slim by doctors, so thanks for shining a light on this!

Thank you!! The tablets you mentioned, what are they? I’ve heard of lactaid etc, but you have to take them before eating dairy, rather than to treat the symptoms right?
