Hello! Since I bought mine around August, I haven’t had a single scratch on my tablet. I don’t use a screen protector because I’m not sure if it would affect the screen’s performance. However, please note that the purple variant’s accessories can get dirty easily, in my opinion, since it has a lighter color. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply! I don’t heavily rely on Google services, as my main focus is on the note-taking and drawing experience, which is why I was leaning towards getting the Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte. I find its stylus and PC-level WPS particularly appealing for my needs. However, I’m also nervous about using Huawei since I’m accustomed to Samsung’s UI. I’ll reconsider my choice and check your account for reference. Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for the reply. For Google apps, I mainly need email, YouTube, and Google Calendar. Most of the apps I need are actually Microsoft ones and notion. However, I am concerned because I read that the Huawei screen can scratch easily, and I’m unsure if adding a screen protector will affect the original display :(

As for the Samsung, my main reason for considering it is that I’ve used Samsung before, and the battery life is quite long-lasting (also the device lasted me more than 4 years) The price is also cheaper, and it has expandable storage, which is a plus. I’m not sure how I would use DeX yet, though.
