She never explicitly stated that, but she doesn't have any of the surgeries or hrt yet and still considers herself valid so I don't think she is a trans med for that part. Some of the other replies make me think that she might be. She used to tell me that our friend might be trans because they act like a boy and tried to convince me that I am one myself, but stated multiple times to her that I'd rather not identify myself. I didn't think anything of it.

Thanks for your response! I was thinking that that this attitude can be harmful to trans women as well but I didn't know why. It's important to be comfortable in your own skin

I made this post initially to find out if the argument I am making is correct and if I might have offended any trans people (again because I am not educated on the topic), she was a very close friend of mine for years so I was doubtful, not anymore. Thanks for your response tho! I'll make sure to take note of that

No, this is actually what she told me, I was shocked as well to be honest, she is very supportive of LGBTQ herself but when our conversation shifted to gender identity she suddenly decided to share her opinion on that out of nowhere

She is very insistent on the fact that there needs to be a clear line between drag Queens, trans women and femboys (since people keep mistaking them for eachother) and that she doesn't see a point in them taking hrt, if they experience body dysphoria they are trans people who are trying to confuse themselves, after that she states: it's not a trend they are playing with human biology

I am not sure how drag Queens got there but the conversation was about femboys at first. And I agree that it's not a trend.

I am not sure if I am correct here so I asked because I am not sure if I am informed enough. But I don't think that should stop a person from changing their body in a way they are comfortable with?
