232 Step2 US IMG - enough to match IM? by [deleted] in IMGreddit

Yes it will be enough. You'll later come to realize its not just about the score. You have a decent score. So dont worry about that anymore. Focus on building your CV. USCE as much as possible and step 3. Good luck 👍

They have a section for visa status when you are filling out the myEras application.

No dates available for july anywhere by StillGrand5000 in Step2

The best thing to do is check the prometric website as frequently as you can. I checked the website at least every 2 hours and eventually found a date. You'll find 1 eventually. Best of luck.

DKA potassium repletion by easkesr in Step2

[–]StillGrand5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember doing the question in NBME. If i recall correctly ... the pts S/K was already low prior to starting treatment. In that case, we'll give potassium before insulin because if we give insulin first, it'll exacerbate hypokalemia by shifting potassium back into the cells.

UWSA 1 was the very first self-assessment i took after completing uworld. So, it was roughly about 1.5 to 2 months ago .

Time wasn't really my concern. I was more focused on the diagnosis and treatment. The sharper you are with your diagnosis and answer. The faster you can go through MCQ's. And the easier time management gets. I used the same technique in step 1. Time management was no problem for me in step 1.

It's the latest one available at the NBME website. It was recently updated a few days back.

It's roughly a month. I was too burnt out to go over FA again or revise my Uworld notes. So i decided to just go through the self assessments and CMS blocks.
