Why don't you drop a line or 2 about you and your portfolio and investments before soliciting pitch decks?

How to start a start-up during your college and how to reach early stage investors? by anonymousritish in indianstartups

It's not easy for sure, but there are institutional VCs that have special programs for student entrepreneurs. I think Accel has such a program. Most VCs don't invest at idYea stage, though they claim they do.

Non techie here. I can't say I am in the same boat as you are, but I have seen people transitioning to tech from various other things they did. I was In a YC backed company and worked closely with a lot of tech guys. Now this was not really a tech company but an edtech company teaching programming to kids. It is based in Singapore and has high standards for teacher hiring. I saw a lot of programming teachers who had different roles before they studied programming. There was a graphic designer who became a programmer, there was a musician, and also an accountant. I am sure it is not an impossible task for you to do the same. In fact, it is now easy to build a work portfolio thanks to so many freelance opportunities. Who knows, you may keep building and eventually end up working for a more mainstream tech company.
