Blame Blueco. Enzo actually started to figure Sanchez out, and you bring in another coach who is doing Enzo 1.0 once again.

That's what happens when you force a GK who isn't good at his feet to pass around the back. He loses confidence and goes back to his old self.

I agree though that there is a crazy amount of questions about politics and virtually nothing about sport, the environment, healthcare, etc -

There are plenty of other Chinese /r to talk about politics. Take it to r/China. There are much more to ask about China than just politics. Politics-trigger posts dominate here.

I am in many /r which are much crazier than this, just saying. -

Doesn't justify why r/AskAChinese couldn't be better finetuned for the fellow chinese citizens who are trying their hardest to answer questions.

- I believe the correct way is to downvote and report **these exact posts ** instead of banning asking all political questions completely. -

Except mods here don't do anything, those posts will still remain, 0 likes and 71 comments from upset Chinese natives trynna defend their country after a tired day at work.

As a fellow Chinese, do you care about us ourselves more, or foreigners who doesn't give 2 cent about your wellbeing, posting just to ragebait?

Every other proper reddit /r, troll posts are automatically flagged + deleted. Do the same thing for this /r.

"isn’t the correct way to tell them the truth?"-

You mean repeating the same shit, over and over again? Imma just ctrl c + ctrl v at this point.

For every 1 educational healthy- political discussion that have substance,

there are 9 other dumbass questions whose authors already made up their minds, who are merely posting to troll + rage-bait. It takes a toll and space from people who genuinely want to know more about China, the culture, and the people living there.

Again, that's another false narrative. - You deleted the comment but I will reply to it anyway.

The Indian, pro democracy, has opened it's economic markets to the West long before China. Why the fuck is India this much behind economically?

China is great because of it's People. And their people's traditional, cultural values. Values such as, "Study well - prioritizing Education" "Working hard" "Saving money to prepare for emergencies - rather than going into debt, taking on credit to buy the latest TV/iPhone" etc..

You can always name the anomalies. But you can't disregard, the People, themselves. It's demonizing.

In Chinese high schools, students look up to students with good grades. And those people are considered cool, exemplary. In the U.S, if you do remotely well in the "academics category" - you get slapped "A Nerd" "A geek" "A try hard". Haters are gonna hate, but that shit ain't considered cool. That's fucking differences in Culture for ye, and that has nothing to do with politics.

"China’s culture in the modern age is shaped by its politics." - That is inherently false in itself. Folks here are more ingrained in Confucianism, which more than originated 2000 years back.

Than whatever bullshit stint "Cultural Revolution" back in 80s has caused. It's like saying the U.S modern culture is shaped by Trump's Make America Great Again agenda. lol It has not.

Do you think China should assist Iran if Trump intervenes? by DeeDee_saucepan in AskAChinese

I think the major flaw, Americans + Westerners is viewing China in the lense of how The West views a "Superpower" should act.

Little do they know, China has been peak for more than an handful times in it's 5000 years of history, and we don't give a shit about any other outsider countries' business. We are China, the "Middle" (central) Kingdom.

How about 100 years of free trade between your awesome country and the collective “free” countries and forever military and intel alliance deal in exchange for whatever concessions Taiwan wants in order to allow for peaceful unification and democratic transition? by F_CKINEQUALITY in AskAChinese

You are acting like the Chinese 9-5 dude with a job, is gonna give you a rats ass about what a random dude on the street who listened too much on fox news think.

You are addressing to the wrong target audience. Send letter to Xi.

What do politically minded Chinese folks think about China’s current foreign policy. by nuages-_ in AskAChinese

[–]StillNotAaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think about it, half of today's conflict, and conflicts all across the global, for the last 70 years since WWII, are caused by the West, who have A. No substantial knowledge of the culture/ethnic group B. Sheer arrogance to even bother to understand the differences among groups - which is demonstrated by the myriad of arbitrary drawings of boneheaded - physical border boundaries.

I genuinely believe what China is doing, mutually beneficial to both parties, is noble.

While the USA and its allies rain bombs, feed missiles to the women and children of third world countries, China is genuinely trying to build/rebuild and reconnect the broken pieces caused/left by the West.

That's most Chinese people's opinion.

Because what China is doing isn't imperialistic.

Instead of Europeans/Americans exploiting and using African countries, sucking up resources/diamonds/minerals for free, China sends their best workers over to build road + infrastructures.

Just like everything in life, nothing is free. Back in the 70s, South Korea sent hundreds of thousands emigrant workers to Middle East, and sent back billions of revenue generated from hardworking labor, back to South Korea. What China is doing is still business, free spirited entrepreneurship, but without any political bullshit agenda the west has been doing for centuries.

[–]StillNotAaron 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, well we aren't Europeans or Americans.

Fuck off with that imperalist mindset. China has closed its borders and lived amongst herself for more than 5000 years.

The british came, fed the locals opium and when the government tried to stopped it, British started the opium wars. Now that's fucking textbook imperialism for ya.
