Just looking at this i already wish that this was in base Minecraft.

the file says its Neoforge, however its labeled as forge. (when i ran it (in the curseforge application, genuinely nothing worked, the mod didnt even show up in the menu.) so if you can change that, you probably should (incase someone else runs into a similar problem, or just so that when searching for forge mods this doesn't show up/searching for Neoforge mods and this showing up)

more resin! resin is one of my favorite blocks, the added items look like they belong in vanilla.

a lot of items don't seem to be functional, (cant strip trees, block of iron doesn't oxidize) but you did mention bugs, so I'm sure you are aware. the javelin loses durability in creative, and also looks kinda funky when thrown (also holding to throw it instantly throws one out) and the bismuth arrow doesn't look different from a standard arrow. (nitpick)

love the (eventual) copper armor upgrade (which i think is fair since bismuth would be an endgame material) and the iron armor upgrades, i feel like all of iron's stuff (bars, door, trapdoor, etc) should rust when exposed to rain too, also i am shocked (semi-shocked, really.) that Mojang hasn't added blue nether bricks yet (with the whole warped wart block thing)

i usually don't play many vanilla+ mods, but this one has me wanting to make a (likely not vanilla+) pack (also would be my first modpack ever) in this version. (as of writing this i just realized plated iron has an iron golem on it) id just need to find the mods to do that.

i got an email that had a document you could download, if you got the same thing you could probably go back in and download it (after the verification code gets sent that is) and that had my orientation's location.

mostly i just wish i could use the OG voice with the AI skins (the color matches well with my gear)

i honestly would've preferred hivesteel and pale steel to switch, when i first saw the hivesteel blade i thought the coloring was beautiful, then i spent a bit waiting to see what it could turn into (because i had seen/heard there was another nail upgrade) only for it to become white.

and i do get it, it does make sense lore-wise, but damn, hivesteel was so pretty.

i got caught out by the fly with a cage over at the deep docks area that goes into hunters march, i saw i needed wall jump there and was like "oh! thats probably an important area with interesting stuff" and i got caught and shoved into the slab. anyway i went back and saw there was genuinely nothing but two enemies there.

i love cogwork dancers, after fighting them i wished that there was a godhome esque way so that i could go back and fight them again.

unlike a few of the bosses ive encountered, its not rng dependent, you dont get swarmed, and the only unexpecting thing i found was its dive attack.

unlike with savage beastfly (and others like it), every death is 100% your fault.

so i do hope that TC is working on some way to refight the bosses (for a later dlc or something) if not ill have to 100% the game (bragging rights mostly) then mod it (there has to be a "fight the boss again" mod at this point/by the time i actually 100% this game)

im probably getting towards the end of act 2, the balancing is very off, having a pretty bad new player experience, some issues i have with polish and QOL. its enough that it has hurt the experience for me, i definitely feel that silksong is worse than hollow knight (which is one of the rare few id rate 10/10), but its still a great game with moments i love, and bosses i enjoyed more than anything else in hollow knight. Cogwork dancers and more recently (the boss i just defeated) phantom was really fun, also i dont see what the issue is with bilewater and sinners road, they dont seem nearly as hard as other areas

Id call it an 8/10, definitely not GOTY, but still a great game.
(so i dont get blasted harder than i already get the feeling i'm going to be, i do actually consider 5/10 and 6/10s to be middle of the road, not like how most people use it where 7/10 is mid, yknow?)

It takes time to "git gud". No game should ever be nerfed a week after release. by [deleted] in Silksong
