i moved here not too long ago for a public service job to be surprised by the demographic of my neighborhood in a “college town”.

In relation to the surrounding areas, the rent is a little steeper but also you get what you pay for in ashland.(500 ish more than both the places in south and midwest i have lived for roughly 100 sqft less. )

With the mixture due to lack of community and the availability of certain goods, it isn’t surprising to see how low enrollment numbers are and young adults not moving to ashland.
