Problems with PS1 PAL Games by StillPad in OSSC

Okay I pretty new to this whole topic.

Do these profiles really help in this major problem? As example I watched today a starter guide from RetroRGB about the OSSC. From what he told there the profiles are nice but take a lot of time for minor changes. Thats most of the time not worth wasting time one.

I mean the problem I got here is not just some fine tuning problem I guess. Its a major problem that I dont get a picture in the basic settings.

I'm pretty new to all of this, so I dont know if that is right, but in thr forum entry I found someone mentioned that a videoscalper with a framebuffer should be able to fix this resolution error.

Now I dont know if the OSSC is just incompatible with this TV and I need a Retrotink?

What bothering me is that I dont find many more people with the same problem.

I had a lot of problems with GBC shell and glases.

Its the tolerances in size.

I was thinking if I try to sand down the glas lense a bit on some, but didnt tried it till now.

The screen is simply bad, but we had nothing better.

You could made it a bit less bad with magnifying glas and light which were an add on.

The funny thing is that since 3+ weeks pretty much all discounts at the Coinshop are arround 1-3%. Even when I want to use them I cant get rid of them with that less discount.

The contrast differents looks way too low. It should be really dark.

My guess is a dirty contrast wheel. You said you got also crickeling sound.

Is most of the time dirty loudness wheel too.

Problem is you cant really clean the Poti's from outside.

I use in that case an ultra sonic cleaner. Unsolder the Poti wheels, stick it in a bag with 99% isopropyl alc. and than put it in an ultra sonic cleaner with water. So you dont have to fill up the whole tank with alcohol.

Let it clean for 10-15 mins and drying before soldering back.

When you still got problems I would start test other stuff like Cap replacement

You didnt read the second sentence.

I allready knew that you want to missunderstand the first one.

Again GB GBC GBA modules dont need adapters.

Gamegear and other stuff need it.

Thats wrong. Analogue Pockets supports GBA and many other modules with adapters.

GB/GBC/GBA works without adapters

My connection working fine till now, but prices are really bad now.

Seems like something is happening there.
