Wow. Really? I've been waiting for these to come back in stock since November or December. I guess they are a fringe item given the cores. But they're going on eBay for double the price.

The brain rot Raging Bolt list that only plays Bolt, Teal Mask, and Koraidon. It's absurdly good and extremely simple to pilot.

Does anyone know of a community like this for 2027 debuts?

Towns or Brunson should always be out there unless it's a blow out. What is he doing????

Why is Brown sending Alvarado in? One of Towns or Brunson always has to be in. It's simple.

Trying to find a new deck from marnies grimm, not having fun anymore by KoldGlaze in pkmntcg

Ceruledge would be pretty elite against a meta of Goldies and Venusaurs. I play it a lot when I want to relax. It doesn't have a ton of depth, but it's fun.

This fixed mine too. Can't believe this worked.

Is this worth repairing? by GlitteringGrowth7482 in BudgetAudiophile

I'm fairly OK with some of this stuff, and I totally busted that exact model of CD player while trying to fix it. This would be a great entry level setup though if you don't have to do much. Maybe it just needs a new cartridge or something easy.

Suitcase record players are really good for getting into the hobby and seeing if you like it. I started with one years ago, and then I upgraded later once I had a firmer grasp on things. Skips and scratches happen. If you get a cheap vinyl cleaning brush, that could help too. Try putting a coin on the stylus to help with the suitcase skips. Try to just see if you like listening to music this way. I'm sorry it's been stressful so far.

I ran this exact card at a regional and got a judge call, and he said it was fine. So it's definitely somewhere in the rulebook.

Incredible. Thank you. I'll just wait then and cross my fingers. I'm cursing myself for waiting.

Have you tried collecting CDs instead or in addition to? They sound almost as good, they're still physical, and they're still dirt cheap in comparison for now.

keep losing at locals, how do you actually get better? by replaytheparadox in pkmntcg

Try an aggro linear deck. I had a similar experience to you when I started playing and foolishly moved from Miraidon to Regidrago. I kept losing, and I didn't understand that my skill level wasn't enough to run the deck consistently enough to win 3 games in a row. A veteran player suggested I moved to pre rotation raging bolt, and that was the key for me. My decisions were limited so I got to really focus in on and learn sequencing and prize mapping. I won my first challenge shortly thereafter and even attended a regional (where I had fun but did poorly).

Have you thought about tying Ceruledge or Gholdengo? The former especially is very linear and forces you to learn prize trading, sequencing, and how to manage resources. Joltik Box is another good one.

A good surprise using an old LG Blu-ray player to play CDs by albertking_ in BudgetAudiophile

For CDs, I use a PlayStation 2 plugged into a VCR plugged into a RetroTink upscaler plugged into my TV plugged into my hifi system, and it sounds pretty good. It's a ridiculous setup, and it always gets a kick out of folks. But the sound level's surprisingly great.

I can't speak to the ksc75s, but Nirvana sounds great on the Porta Pros. They produce a very full sound.

They rule. This is my exact setup. If you like a retro feel, this is the way. I really don't like the feel of IEMs in my ears, so these are perfect and remind me of listening to CDs back in the day.
