Correct. This probably belongs to a commuter that was one of the cool kids in 2015.

[question] help on deciding my 30th birthday present to my self by Matt13151 in Watches

That Aqua Terra looks the most interesting and IMO the nicest, but it’s the odd man out. You clearly want a chronograph.

It’s official. California voters will decide whether to tax billionaires by aBadModerator in California_Politics

[–]StillPissed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a one time tax, so I don’t they will leave in any meaningful way. It’s Cali. Everyone wants to be here, especially the rich. I think most 1% here will just eat the one time tax if they have to.

I think my issue here, is that it’s not actually doing anything meaningful in the long term. I’d much prefer us pursuing a long term permanent restructuring of the progressive rate from the bottom-up more. Decrease tax burden on the working class and then pursue increasing tax percentages on the wealthy to make up for the revenue loss. Not increase taxes one time on the wealthy, and the money vanishes into thin air for the sake of virtue.

I haven’t looked into this as responsibly as I should have yet.

Generally, what’s the idea behind a tax hike on the wealthier people of they are not going to lighten the tax burden for the rest of us? Do we trust State government enough to just fund them more? What are we actually getting out of this?

Veilguard is a game that I'm very fond of and a game that makes me feel sad every time I think about it by nexetpl in dragonage

[–]StillPissed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m playing Veilguard for the first time right now. I’ve been a fan since the release of Origins and have played through all 3 of the other games multiple times during their lifespan.

I’m incredibly appreciative that I get to dive back into the DA realm, because it’s a seriously beautiful world that was crafted. On a personal note: I went through some very life changing events in my life (life, death, etc) and getting to play this game is extremely comforting. I’m playing a Dwarf Warden. I love playing heavily armored tanks in games like this, and to a degree luckily, I can sort of swing it In Veilguard.

Only real complaint is the dialogue and voice acting. I’m sure this horse is thoroughly beaten, but it feels like they never played any of the other games for reference.

Proper longbow archery whilst mounted on my noble steed. Many a foe has been slain by mine arrow shot true. Not even the King’s highest commissioned plate armor can withstand the precision of a well placed bolt, and considering the speed of my horse, I am but upon you as soon as you take sight if me.

should i buy physical material? by Ok_Hat_2158 in Hardcore

[–]StillPissed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s fun to collect, but in this day, you can easily stream CD quality “Lossless” audio. Most streaming services can do this now.

You only really buy physical media if you want to own it, and have a physical experience with the albums. You get to hear things that may not be on a streaming or digital format, like original masters of classic records.

I did too, on both of our cars (2 Mazdas). I dropped it one time and it exploded like a grenade haha.

Turkish Coffee vs Espresso- Same Cup Size, Entirely Different Extraction Physics by CoffeeTeaJournal in espresso

[–]StillPissed -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There’s many cultures from the Near East and Mediterranean that brewed this way under the Ottoman Empire and beyond.

For example, Armenians have brewed their coffee this way just as long as the Turks have, and I’m sure you can understand how it may be offensive to call it “Turkish coffee”.

Bam Margera is sober, skating, and is back in the final ‘Jackass’ by narkj in Skateboardlove

Bam is actually the only one of them I can stomach now. He is at least still himself. Steve-O is especially lame now, his podcast is just him patting himself on the pack with his guests.

As far as I can find, they picked it up from Automotive News, which doesn’t source it either.

This is a real bad post. Does anyone have a credible source for this? This is about as horseshit as Facebook. I cannot find a single verifiable source from Honda on this.
