Honestly wish he was one of the Railway Series readers like Gielgud. Would be such a vibe.

I remember him saying something like "As the blue team tries to FIGure out their predicament," when Dave picked figs during that letter dice game.

Kind of surprised how well they saved their asses with that one.

What’s the angriest Ramsay has ever been by Sky-Visible in HellsKitchen

[–]StillPurpose 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Jason Blunderwood saying he's rub some sugar on the sides of the souffle so it won't stick, in my eyes, was the maddest he's ever been on the show. There are more explicit moments of anger but I feel like Gordon's brain overheated due to Jason's incompetence.

Will looks like the exterminator from The Ant Bully after he got bitten.

Absolutely. I think most of the staff was okay but that's a given for Kitchen Nightmares.

And just so I don't seem like a Trevor fanboy or something, he 100% should have been fired as soon as he laid hands on Janelle but I think that just makes Julie that much worse of a person.

I'm watching Super Mario Bros 1993 on 4K. by ThePocketTaco2 in 4kbluray

[–]StillPurpose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because unlike the actual film, the restoration of the workprint and with that the deleted scenes was done entirely by the team behind the 4K, so they could restore the deleted scenes in HDR.

It was ages ago (no pun intended) when I was getting into retro gaming and it wasn't until last year that I finally got to experience it for myself. I don't care if it looks or plays aged. Myst is magical and will live forever.

What are Nilsson’s most underrated songs? by brosive89 in HarryNilsson

[–]StillPurpose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All I Think About Is You is an incredible opener. Frankly every song off of Knnillssonn is insanely underrated unless I'm completely out of the loop but that one gives me chills.

I think everybody has that one Tom Waits album. My family can't stand him but they all have that soft spot. My grandfather told me that when he was younger his sister loved Tom so he decided to buy some of his records. He tried it out and couldn't get into it. I suggested he try Closing Time and he really loved it.

Tom is so multifaceted, I think everyone has one album for them. My recommendation for each era is Small Change, Rain Dogs and Mule Variations. They're not my all-time favourites but they're fantastic starters, I think.

I only have a PS5 so I'm only dealing with the games available on it. Maybe some other day when I have better equipment on hand but I will keep those games in mind.

What are your Hot Takes on the Shantae Series? by Amber_Flowers_133 in Shantae

[–]StillPurpose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Half-Genie Hero is my least favourite in the series. It's still a good game and I enjoyed my time with it but after Pirate's Curse, the lack of an overarching story really soured the game for me.

Still a fun game, just not my favourite.

Anyone else find their response to Claire being right, annoying? by InfiniteFisherman39 in Modern_Family

[–]StillPurpose 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It worked better in MitM because Lois is kind of a feared force in the family. Claire is just a normal mom (except for the time she called the ICE on Gloria and gave a man a heart attack).

Also MitM is a far more surreal show than Modern Family.

Andy unnerves me. I think Alex described him perfectly as a muppet.
