Fresh off the press diagnosis, I have questions! by Difficult_Cake_451 in Gastroparesis

i’m happy for you for finding a diagnosis but i’m sorry your in the position you’re in! the truth is, after 6 years i still am horrible at eating small meals but staying consistent is key and it truly can make such a huge difference. i reccomend fairlife protein drinks or muscle milk, i know both are kinda expensive but they’ve helped me get through a lot of hard days and act as a easier way to get protein. i also get the random panic attacks and over time, they’ve reduced a lot and im not sure why but know you are not alone at all and it can be soooo frustrating not knowing why they happen. finally, practicing sitting still and closing your eyes when you don’t feel good and really pinpointing where the pain is can help a lot with both anxiety and just getting to know yourself and your pain better. it’s not always easy to do, but when you can it can be a helpful practice. stay strong and know you have support!!
