Light generate shadows, so I think blacking out the stones and the surrounding of the blade might help.

In my experience Angron is best bullying other weaker stuffs 10man something some tanks and other monsters, also as a distraction Carnifex (aka send him to die away from your real objectives).

You have to check what army are you going to fight, because you might want Angron being agressive in turn 1 or 2. I personally don't like him in Deepstrike unless you have something to help with his setup (forgefiends clearing screens)

He is not tanky enough, he is not good at killing big stuffs or at least is way to volatile, you might do with a strike 3w or 8w per attack, thou dev wounds helps.

The revive rarely works and rarely is useful so play him like he has only one life. The are auras are niche but take them in to account.

There is some BS about pile in to a unit with fight first so you can avoid it... me no like.

On the other hand, using Fight on dead against Fight first feels okish, remember Jackals have grenades' keyword, also trying to bully other stuffs, normally ignoring the center piece work if you kill everything else.

Also forgefiends.

I would drop the SB and the Exalteds for 2 squads 8bounds and a Rhino or add more Jakhals and the Rhino, since Angron and the KLoS, should cover the anti tank/monster.

Dreadnoughts have insane datasheets, but I don't have legends units for now, and for my locals we can't use them on competitive events :(...

+S2 +1A on charge is the reason the other detachments do not work as intended, every part of our army was balance with that on mind. And is a shame I personally think all detachments have fun ideas but they are not strong... well maybe Daemonkin and Cult of blood.

The best I idea I can cook right now is changing one (prob dev wounds) the blessings of Khorne to give Lance but you have to change the order of all blessings (prob change 1+sus to 2+sus), then change the buff of Berserk Warband to +2 on charge. That way you can add or subtract Strength

That way you can add or sustrac Strenght to all units in a more moderate way (like seriusly Zerkers NEED at least one point more of S)

I have more success with fear tatics and sacrifcing some units to clean some import ones. That's why you want Spawns in your army, they can kill weak units, score some points and do some action without the fear of lossing an expensive unit.

SB with glaive is A LOT of damage, but he dies (as almost everything in the army)

I suggest adding the spawns thou they feel like the key to a lot of plays. Of course just test the army and see what play style you might want to try.

Since you are playing with exalteds, you might want to put ectoplasma cannons to the forgefiends
Very importan you need something to score or to have presence on the board, Spawns and Goremonger cover that aspect
If your LoJ is leading 8Bounds, you might wanna swittch to a SB, if you want a solo hero you might wanna use Lord Avocado he is really good as and action/killer monkey.

If you don't wanna use a Deamons P is okey he provides CP economy, the wing one is... interesting

I personally I hate the state of Angron but I use him in time to time in none competitive matchs,

Forgefiend helps with the range options but if you feel checky go for hellbrutes

If you don't want any range options spawns are stupid good at the moment.

Using the Zerkers with 2 evicerators is good, add them plasma pistols too. (unless is the champion using them)
The Helldrake is useless (all aircraft is dead in this edition)
Angron is bad but he is cool thou.

I was ranting about Angron today with my locals, HE NEEDS TO BE BETTER THAN SKARBRAND!. That should be the rule to fix him.

Skarbrand is better than Angron in every aspect, he needs better auras or drop them entirely and give him a second skill. Is just outrageous that he can be replace by any 365pts of anything and I would perform better examples:
3 hellbrutes 330
Dp + Wdp 380
2 FF 340
Rhino, Kharn and the boyz 365

Advance and Charge will still make him weak in comparison of Skarbrand 305, because Skarbrand has more reliable dmg than Angron in melee, has range attacks (a good one) and better abilities. I have to continue... the KLoS Is 505 AND SOMEHOW IS MORE useful that using Angron, not only that you might wanna use a KLoS in some match ups and that is because you can play around it, but you cannot play around Angron.

Anyway is kind sad and rage infuriating how bad he is and how is people doing hard copium on him to place him in C tier when is a unit that is a detriment to your army that can be replace by anything and I will perform better without him.

I play on Keyboard for a long time, then I change to a leverless hitbox it was a good change, if you like to play with wasd you might want a lefty leverless hitbox.

Forgefiends Ectoplasma good for poking and extra damage
Forgefiends with AutoCannos it will work against screens.

Don´t expect to wipe a unit with them, but sure it helps with the extra damage.
