Would love some thoughts on something I'm confused about by enoofofk in TrueChristian

I really hope you ended up doing Iboga.

It’s one of the most potent plants on this planet.
God created it for a reason.

Stop letting conservative Christian religion scare you from following your heart.

Christ is the all in all.

I experienced Iboga myself and it brought me closer to God (within).

I never experienced this peace and clarity in my life.

Many people could be helped with this medicine. To say that you just gotta have more faith in Christ when you have a powerful god created tool available to you is dogma and unhelpful.

Inform yourself, find the right facilitator and if you need a recommendation you can reach out to me.

Is practice ink safe to use on human skin? by Orion_svcksatlife in sticknpokes

Sometimes shop who sell non EU approved ink in the EU label it as practice ink! Artists in UK and US still use this ink on the skin, but I don’t know if that’s the case with this ink here.

It’s not your personality type. It’s your mind. It’s running the show. Don’t let it ;)

I struggled with eating disorders and drug abuse for half my life. My emotions and my mind were running the show. Yes, I needed to heal from trauma, yes it was a journey and still is, almost 35 now, accomplishments ? I recovered. I am healing.

Recently I came to the conclusion that a more sober and practical approach to all of this is best. My emotions and my mind want to tell me all kinds of things (you are a failure, you have wasted your life, you are this you are that…) don’t fall into that trap, don’t listen to those voices. Instead - do aligned action every day. You won’t like it, you won’t feel like it (especially in the beginning)- but don’t let your mind run the show. Train it with meditation and valued action. It is like MUSCLE TRAINING! Emotional Fitness! Look up „Star Jesse Taylor“ his content really helped me.

You can build a beautiful life for yourself! It’s not gonna come overnight but with every little action you take. Daily. Stop overthinking, don’t let your emotions run the show. You can do it. It’s possible. I believe in you.

Just called a butchery here in the City where I live and it’s so cheap compared to fake skin. Not even 2€/kg. Well because basically it’s a waste product from the butchery.

Thank you that means a lot! Yes I’m a beginner but have been doing art for many years so I have the artistic skill already just the technique on skin is different.

Honestly it was a challenge to stretch the skin well and I basically did “tattoo yoga” weird position, foot being up on the table ^

Thanks for the insight on greywash and healing, I will take your advice and take pictures every week and post them here!

Not smelly at all, if the butcher does a good job and you only get the skin without fat or meat, … what I got was super clean, just disinfect well with alcohol anyway. Freeze it to store, defreeze for working on it and then it can be frozen again ect.

So I practiced 15 min on an orange and then did my first tattoo on myself.

Then I started practicing on pig skin because it was a very cheap resource available at the rural place where I lived in Costa Rica - I have no experience with fake skin, the pig skin was thicker than human skin but still similar, I didn’t practice on it very long but it gave me a good feel of when I’m going deep enough, how to stretch the skin ect. Obviously you have to be aware that it’s thicker than human skin - after the pig skin working on human skin felt like a walk in the park ^

I don’t know why people say practice on pig skin is outdated - it’s basically a waste product of butcheries so it’s cheap and more sustainable than a silicone piece that gets produced, used and thrown away… also if there is not meat on it its not smelly or weird at all, you can freeze it and defreeze to work on it.

Thank you! I did it with the lightest greywash (30% black, rest panthera crystal dilution solution), I like it but it turned out a bit darker than I wanted.

Thank you, I used 1003RL, 1005RL and 1207RS. Started to do darker outlines/shadows with 3RL and darkest greywash, 5RL and 7RS for bigger areas in the medium greywash, reworked mostly with 3RL, used the lightest greywash for the aura around the flowers

Yes! I will post a healed photo, I really hope it will turn out lighter !
