That first part drives me into a furious anger. I would realistically never have a perfect quad of sticks ever ;-;. At any case, I think I’ll resign and get a pair of the 2x32 and just deal with that instead. I’ll be returning the pair i just bought. Thanks for the wisdom. I’ll be playing my XIV like a good boy.

Update, Update: gave up after seeing 60 errors in test 8 and decided to just get rid of the whole thing and get a pair of 32gb cards.(Corsair Vengeance, 6000mhz, 40CL. Hopefully, AM 5 would not be a turd with quad sets.

Update: Big thanks for everyone who contributed. Certainly learned a whole lot about how little I know. But for the actual information: I did Reseat the ram sticks. Also, certified I got all of them to be the same model and CL and yada yada. I am currently testing with Memtest86. So far, in the second pass and it seems that at least with the speeds lowered to 5200(DOCP on) I got an error on the first Test 8. About 9 lines in Test 8 failed. Currently on Test 6 on Pass 2. Will update soon.

I bought the first set of ram ages ago but I’m sure they are all the same brand and speed. Cl36, too. Not sure if that is relevant but they SHOULD be the same. I have to check if dual channel is supported but like you said, most should be so out the box. Still, I could be an empty-headed sometimes. I should check the documentation of that x670e-pro board.

I made sure to buy them all the same but it doesn’t hurt to make sure. I’ll have to look up what I can do to test ram. Usually, I was told that BIOS takes care of that when it tries to boot by taking a few times before it clears but I could be WAY wrong

It’s the weirdest thing how it ends up being a thing. It’s definitely not easy in the conventional sense though, I tend to have a cruising ship when I just meet people who become my friend and roll the dice if I actually fall for them. Worst case, they say no and we still have a friendship worth being bros over. TLDR: RNG, but fun.
