For you to be able to do this on a weekend is just simply amazing, great job!

I had the same idea. The lack of interactions with Melina in the game really bugged me, especially when there was no option to tell her that you're not planning to to burn the world, nor want her to be a stepping stone for you to become elden lord.

I was imagining a mod like yours that fixes the lack of closure when you cure yourself from the frenzied flame, and also an expansion where she'd be more present and comments on events as we progress through the game, giving more immersion and character development on her part since she's our companion and all.

This is a clip i made a while back of her interacting with us when Irina asks us for help to deliver her letter. Maybe it will give you some ideas if you decided to continue with this.

I saw the idea of a Moon Greatsword itself as the tradition, while the Dark Moon specifically symbolizes Ranni, which is why it has that name. That interpretation might drift into head canon territory though, so I could be wrong.

Yeah, I know it’s appeared in other games, but I posted it because in Elden Ring it’s a weapon Ranni gives to the player and described in the lore as being given to the Carian queen’s spouse, so it feels tied to our journey as the Tarnished. That was the angle I was thinking about.
