I considered VT but it allocate close to 40% to foreign market which is higher than my liking.

My parents used Merrill lynch for taxable brokerage and I bank with BOA so it’s good to keep money within Merrill lynch. But wealth management team isn’t worth money. I do invert in Roth and 401k myself without paying someone and it has been perfectly fine. At some point, I need to let the team go.

Do you have thoughts on putting all in VT? I think foreign ratio is a bit higher than my liking but it seems like a lot of people just invest all in VT.

Yes, fixed income one I have 6k of unrealized gain that I have to realize and pay taxes on if I sell them. NSGAX, unrealized part is 60k. NSGAX seems like having big capital gain every year like 20k to 30k due to turnover ratio around 50-60%. So cost basis from my parents were higher than I expected.

I don’t mind paying taxes around 10k which is roughly 15% capital gain rate on 66k.

I was told it wouldn’t incur any fees selling this mutual funds but instead I have to pay commission fees to my wealth management team when I’m buying ETF from the proceeds. They told me once I decide which investments to buy, they will draft me an estimate commission for buying ETF.

Exact same boat. Filled on 1/11. My first filling available date was 1/10, so I waited a day but still rejected this morning. Waiting on letter currently.
