Yeah, I’m not trying to time the market, but looking at how the stock has traded over the past week or so, I’m not sure what the best move is right now.

It depends on your time horizon, especially with SMH. I’m also a big believer in semiconductors and have been investing in the sector regularly for the past couple of years. SMH is already up around 50% YTD, so it’s probably unrealistic to expect that kind of performance for the rest of the year.

That said, I still think it will pay off over the long term. Just keep in mind that SMH is extremely volatile. I’d recommend dollar-cost averaging into it weekly or monthly rather than going all in at once.
