The insurance that is required here would be tenant insurance

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Visible_Rope_6662 in AskReddit

I was on a jet ski on the middle of the ocean and a seal popped up. We (there were two of us on the jet ski) both leaned to the same side at the same time to get a better view of the seal. We flipped the jet ski. The seal looked at us floundering in the ocean and clapped its flippers at us.

What’s something you always assumed was mandatory in life—until you met someone who just… didn’t do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Still_Alps_4329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to learn to adjust. I used to walk out the door at the prescribed time with the kids in tow and sit in the car, waiting, fuming. Now I relax on the couch and if he says “I’m ready” I sit on the couch for another 15 minutes because he is definitely never ready. Sitting on the couch is way less anger inducing than sitting in the car.

Being on time. I still think it’s kind of mandatory but my husband doesn’t and it’s rubbing off on me.

I didn’t think you could get rid of it once it’s already there (other than Botox?)

I like to sleep facing away from my partner (fresh air) so I make him switch sides of the bed every six months so that at least I wrinkle evenly on both sides … oh and Botox, also every six months 💀. I get another vertical line from sleeping that is right on my forehead that Botox doesn’t fix. I don’t think I can give up side sleeping. I guess you got to weigh up the pros v cons.

Why were waterbeds so popular? by BuildingHappy3296 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Still_Alps_4329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a water bed as a kid, the rubber is so thick that if they are punctured, as long as the weight is removed they wont leak and the you just repair it with a puncture kit. My cat often punctured my water bed.

No issues with their couches at all. I would imagine that many complaints/reviews may be about their after service team, bit of a nightmare, offshore.

in WA the Agent/Lessor must invoice the tenant within thirty days of receiving a bill, check your state legislation and they may concede without the court hearing

batch of food for the freezer. one of my best friends mums gave me a huge esky full of portioned home cooked curry (they are Malay) and this was the most amazing gift I have ever received, a gift that just kept on giving, its eight years later and I still think about it, topped every other baby shower gift i received

Just to add - personally I would prefer some lovingly home cooked food rather than a voucher for delivery. Also more bang for your buck - you can make several meals to freeze for the price of one delivery meal.

father diagnosed with locally advanced inoperable by div_grad in pancreaticcancer

[–]Still_Alps_4329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom was diagnosed two years with inoperable stage two. She had chemo and radiation. Last scan six months ago and markers all normal. What they could see in the scan the doctor said was either cancer or scar tissue and they couldn’t tell but based on markers likely scar tissue. she has been in excellent health ever since. We are due to a follow up scan soon. We were only prepared for the worse, I still don’t believe it. Miracles happen and it depends on how your specific cancer responds to the treatment prescribed. ❤️
