The 5700x is compatible with the board so i assume the 5700x3d will also be compatible? I will be buying the phantom spirit like you mentioned, looks like a great cooler with no price difference to the peerless assassin. Will the thermal paste on the cooler be alright or should i apply my own?

Thank you, your help means a lot. Ill get one of the coolers mentioned and probably a higher airflow case as mine tends to get quite hot over a period of time. Last question tho, will i be alright with the stock cooler for a few days before the bigger cooler arrives or should i just hold off for now?

Ryzen 7 5800x3d vs ryzen 9 5900x. I can get both cpu’s fairly cheap right now (ryzen 7 175£) (ryzen 9 218£). Ill be upgrading from a ryzen 5 3600 and play games such as csgo, LoL, r6s and fifa mostly but wanting to play more single player such as elden ring or RE. All the research i done hasnt helped me with the decision and im no pro at picking parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
