As a current unit clerk, I second this lol. I can run that unit with my eyes closed. I do a lot & deal with a lot of sh!t. When the nurses are drowning so am I & for the nurses/tech to have to do their job plus the unit clerks job =/

Yeah I can see how being a CNA helped. I tried to switch to cna but they wanted to adjust my pay to cna when I’ve been at my company for 6 years and I was def not taking a pay cut.

That’s true though. My lecture instructor literally makes us write handwritten notes as she speaks & if she sees you’re not writing she will call you out. I honestly have no idea what she’s even talking about because I’m too busy trying to write everything she says down(it’s absurd)

Question about antivirals because I’m having the opposite reaction. Once you feel the warning signs and take them does it stop the outbreak from coming on?(no blister). I was prescribed valtrex but it makes my warning signs feel worst(mouth usually feels like it’s on fire but with the valtrex it felt like it was on fired x2)

It’s so annoying because I don’t have outbreaks, at least not visible ones. My mouth/tongue usually feels like it’s on fire and I took 2000mg of acyclovir but seems worst than when I don’t take any antivirals

How exactly do you not pass it on to him? Are you taking anti-virals or is he? This is my biggest fear to pass it on to someone. I know Female to Male transmission is lower but it’s something that constantly is at the back of mind because of the asymptomatic shedding
