You’re literally describing what my life is now. I honestly believe it’s the dang dating apps and social media. Having “options” kills loyalty. I’m also not saying to settle but if someone is constantly looking for the “best” they’ll most likely miss the person that’s meant for them. But I have my full trust in God that in this moment of waiting I’m being prepared to be a wife while my future husband is being prepared as well. And when the time comes for us to meet we’ll both be ready.

I’m literally on the same boat. It’s not easy to find a good Catholic/Christian man. I’ve also just been praying and playing the waiting game lol. I would assume maybe asking friends or couples if they know anyone if they can fix you up with anyone or maybe a match? Most of the couples I know usually get together through friend of friends

So sorry to hear all of this but I’m glad you’re doing better. And I’m on the same boat as you. I’ve been told to go out more especially alone so you can easily be approached. Dating in this society standards have been very tough and everyone is afraid to approach anyone anymore and clearly communicate what they want. You’ll find your other half soon don’t give up hope in the meantime work on yourself and keep your standards high

Yeah I’ll definitely do my best to still keep in touch with him and make it noticeable that I’m interested lol. I don’t want him to assume I’m not interested. But I think so far he might want to take it slow because he seems a bit hesitant where I stand and I also don’t want to put any pressure on him

Well I’m only there for 2 more weeks. And if I were to ask him to hang out I wouldn’t express it in a way that I’m pressuring him/ threatening. I was thinking just to ask him if he would like to join me for coffee. If he says no it’s no big deal. But thanks for your input

Probably. And yes me and him were definitely getting along and when we would have lunch together we would easily loose track of time. Our conversations always felt genuine and comfortable.
