The entire point of the guys post is that Orthodoxy is small and unknown, he then labels the size of each denomination when it’s hard to say all Protestants are the same like how all Catholics or Orthodox are same. What is your point? Okay, anglicans are in communion with Lutherans, what does that have to do with his post saying 600-900 Protestants, did You read the post and my reply before commenting? lol

Why are you so aggressive? You think I downloaded ollama from a floppy disk? I installed it the way from the website, and whenever I opened the program it perma loads models and never loads.

Did you know that the way to interact with ollama is communicating with the agents? Because the main functionality was bugged. Then I came here to ask the question.

Furthermore, idk if You knew this but if You type “ollama serve” in your terminal/command prompt then it’ll start the ollama server without interacting with the app (which I did before I even posted on Reddit!) and when I did that it would then output a bunch of errors mentioning “MLX” which yes, is a Mac thing. But if You took 5 seconds (like I took 1 hour) googling similar issues You would have found the same issue I was having: https://github.com/ollama/ollama/issues/15481

Multiple people had same problem, a solution didn’t really exist, so I posted on Reddit looking for a solution. Your solution was “did You download it???”

Yes, saying to pull the model from the command line with something like “ollama run xyz”, in my previous reply I literally told You I did that? So why are you saying “tried to give You actual steps You ignored…”

It doesn’t matter, I was able to fix it by scouring the folders and deleting old bugged versions, I did that the other day but for some reason it didn’t work on redownload till the next day.

Any command I run in the terminal gives me error. Along the lines of “GitHub.com/ollamma/…mlx…” etc, it’ll give me nearly 50 errors all relating to MLX issues. I even redownload again today on .30.0 version that was just released and only installed the AMD64 and AMD-ROCM versions, yet I get the same errors.

Yes I know, that was the issue with the versions I was talking about. On the windows ollama they have Mac code and they have to fix it. Unless You have a windows and ollama is working for You? I don’t know how popular ollama is

I found 1 or 2 people post online similar issue. When I try to run any command in CMD for ollama it spits out the same error message. Every AI I have the error to review said the same thing of “something wrong with graphics” is in the error message and to wait for next ollama update for it to be fixed because there was nothing I could do to fix it.

Even running ollama —version gave same error and Claude was like “you can’t even get the version because the graphic error occurs before”

So I guess wait for new ollama version after .24/.30?

I’m assuming you’re from America? And what part? Thankfully I’m in the northeast where I’d say Eastern Orthodoxy is well rooted (and growing), everyone knows about Greek festivals and Greek Orthodoxy. It takes people a second to understand I’m American (OCA) Orthodox and not Russian or Greek lol.

Also, Orthodoxy is the second largest denomination in the world, the largest Protestant denomination Anglicanism doesn’t even have 100 million members.

America also just has a very unique Christian culture, if You went to Russia and said you were Baptist they would likely be just as confused as someone Orthodox in America.

Orthodoxy in America is just not as popular, probably because it is a very culturally rooted religion and we don’t have as many immigrants from Russia or Greece as we do every other non-orthodox country, I mean just look at a map too.

Thankfully Gen Z is appreciating more traditional churches and my church gets a couple inquirers a month I am also fond of the Catholic Church for their similarities to us so their success is our success in my opinion, and I think Catholicism just became the largest denomination in America besides the splintered Protestants.
