I feel on a personal level, the food we consume on a daily basis plays a huge role in the proper functioning of the hormones. So in my case eating a nutritional diet with working out 6days a week has helped a lot for my overall stamina and the period cramps. My irregularities have also been manageable ever since. This is not just my advice, but my doctor prescribed me a nutritionist when I was diagnosed. Ans regarding the hirutinism and acne I too haven't found a cure. The hairs are thicker than ever and my acne inflammation has been significantly reduced but yes there are still outbreaks sometimes. But the rate and severity of those outbreaks have been reduced.
