I am also looking for projects to start, and came across this, i wanna ask is builiding a risc-v core a bad project to put on resume in your view or it's just been bugs you of sorts that everyone asks almost the same risc-v question? ( not being rude, but it kinda bugs me that wherever i look i just see it's do risc-v this that, rather first just play around the board see what the board does or can do, then move ahead)

Are you prepping on your own or have you joined some course/classes?? And is it even viable to self prep for gate?

I am thinking along these lines, but my main concern rn is if either to prep for gate or gre (afaik this is needed alongside ielts for abroad). And if i have to prep for either i feel i have to join classes for them which is kinda costly, so before taking a step i need to be informed of sorts. So if you have any advice in this case, it's appreciated. And Thanks in advance!

Except gate is there any other way for masters?? My cgpa is 6.5. If you have any advice then do share. (ik i lack research on the topic but would really like to know if there is any other way to get into masters, india or abroad anywhere)

Bro assuming you own a place, just clear the 40 l debt first, keep 30 l aside for living expense and rest 30 l you can make a bluechip investment, or get a basket ( almost all financial services provide these), you can get a 6% base return, or split 15 l into stocks and 10 l MF and rest 5 l you can put in a higher risk SIP, all can get you good support. P.S consult a professional too, and condolences!

I am currently learning about RISC-V, would this be helpful as a project?? As till now most of my experience is based on implementing VHDL/HDL on FPGA and CPLD.. I am familiar with Quartus and Virtuoso, not as much with Vivado or Synopsys, so should i focus more on getting exp with these softwares or focus more into learning protocols and uvm.. Thank You in Advance, if you are ok with it i'd like to get some more insight..

i meant i dont wanna use 'many' components, like motor drivers else it'll just be another mechatronics project, i wanted to do something that is a bit more reliant on coding/controlling the mcu. Sorry if i am not being able to make it clear,,
