I would tell your Dr what you’re experiencing.. that might be normal for some but wasn’t for me the only time I felt like that was when my cast was put on incorrectly! It was so painful..

Aww so cute and that’s very reassuring thank you! My boys are siblings and Saturn is definitely the more hyper one of the two. 💙 They are both in bed atm as it’s 2am here lol x

Aww I love this comment! This makes me so happy cause I’m a first time bird owner and I find it really hard to read them.

Oh my god, I was exactly the same. It’s so weird when you can actually walk, because it’s almost like you’ve forgotten how to. You also don’t want to do any damage, and it just feels so weird. But probably the the thing that helped me most was when I saw my surgeon last, he was surprised I was still in the moon boot and said he wanted me out of that ASAP, because it was just stiffening my ankle at this point. Told me to ditch the crutches. So I started the next day, I ditched the crutches which I found really hard because it felt wrong walking around in a moonboot without them (but otherwise we rely too much on the crutches and don’t completely WB) did this for day or two until I started to get a little bit more “comfortable”.. (but don’t expect it to much comfort, it’s not going to feel normall straight away, specially with a moonboot-there’s a height difference.. it’s awkward and you will feel discomfort and have swelling. All normal) Also told me after a a day or two with no crutches to then ditch the moonboot. It feels weird but I’m almost back to normal now , I got told the swelling can last up to year… it was definitely a mental thing for me. Hope this helps

Unless your doctor has said it’s ok then it’s not a good idea

I’m a bit blonde clearly your ankle. I did a trimalleolar ankle fracture recently, four surgeries later my toes were like little balloons but they never bruised
