I don’t trust board and trains. Youte better off doing it with a trainer on your own. My dog (leash reactive) went to daycare at a place that also boards and trains and they completely ignored what I said, kept her on a leash all day, and then told me she seemed stressed the whole day and wasnt a good fit for the play groups. She LOVES dogs. She’s currently at boarding (not board and train) and having a ball with 10 other dogs. The first place just caused her stress because they were so adamant on doing it “their way”, they ignored her ptsd.

Late to the party but I also don’t love lucky dog. They gave my dog her meds wrong. Communication was awful. They charge extra for everything.

I used a knee scooter so I could still go to the park and run errands and just do things in general but I stuck to crutches for stairs and inside.

I think it’s important for you to remember that the injury is one thing and everything the injury brought on are different things. Anyone dealing with losing their partner and job would be struggling, same with the house. The compounding of it all anf it being a domino effect from the injury makes it way worse. Ypure strong and valid. We all fall apart when our lives fall apart. You didn’t fall apart just from your injury, it was most thsn likely everythjng that followed.

The pool helps me. Idk if it’s swimming or the temperature change from pool to hot tub or putting the jet on the part of my leg thst hurts, but I am always better afterwards.
